We’re delighted that defender Dan Groves has become the latest player to sign a new contract for the 2025-26 season.

Dan joined The Stan in November 2024, on an initial loan from Hebburn Town where he was part of their FA Vase winning side and went on to make 17 starts and 8 sub appearances for us during the 2024-25 campaign.

Perhaps the most memorable moment of his first season with Heaton Stannington was Groves’ winning penalty at St James’ Park to crown us Northumberland Senior Cup Winners.
