Announcement: The Home of Heaton Stan Juniors

We announced last season our plans to implement a Junior division at Heaton Stannington FC in the 2023/24 season. Since then, a lot of hard work has been going on behind the scenes to build solid foundations for this part of the Club.

We are now delighted to be able to announce that we have entered a partnership with charity Urban Green Newcastle which will see Heaton Stan Juniors based at the nearby Paddy Freeman’s Park facility!

Paddy Freeman’s Park is central to the High Heaton community and in very close proximity to Grounsell Park. It provides us with an amazing opportunity to bring Junior football to the area and the partnership with Urban Green will see investment in the facility as a Junior football hub for years to come. We are excited to have a shared vision with Urban Green to develop Paddy Freeman’s Park further including pitch improvements, facilities improvements and with community integration at the heart of all we do.

We are now working with Urban Green and various community groups to bring this vision to fruition and ensure we are ready to go for the coming season.

Please keep a look out for further Juniors updates via our website and social media channels, especially plans for Open Sessions in June.
