Frequently Asked Questions
Who should I contact if I have a question about my child’s team?
Your team manager should always be your first point of contact for team-specific questions, including training, fixtures and general team matters. If they can’t help, they can direct you to the appropriate member of the Junior Committee.
What should I do if I have a concern about my child?
Please speak to your team manager in the first instance unless the concern relates to safeguarding. Safeguarding concerns should be raised directly with the club’s Welfare Team using safeguarding@heatonstan.co.uk.
How do I make a complaint?
We encourage concerns to be resolved calmly and at the appropriate level wherever possible. If a matter cannot be resolved within the team, parents can follow the club’s formal Complaints Procedure, available in the Club Documents & Policies section below. General enquiries and complaints can also be sent to juniors@heatonstan.co.uk.
Where can I find the club’s policies and codes of conduct?
All key club documents are available on this page, including our Safeguarding, Equality, Anti-Bullying, Complaints and Disciplinary policies, along with Codes of Conduct for players, parents, guardians and spectators.
Who runs Heaton Stannington Juniors?
Our junior section is run by a committee of volunteers, with specific responsibilities covering football development, safeguarding, administration and the wider running of the club. You can see the committee members and their roles above.
How can I get involved with the club?
Heaton Stannington Juniors relies on volunteers to provide opportunities for our players. Whether you’re interested in coaching, helping at events, refereeing or supporting the club in another way, we’d love to hear from you. Contact juniors@heatonstan.co.uk to get involved.
