Dale Pearson agrees to join Heaton Stan

Heaton Stannington are delighted to announce that Dale Pearson has agreed to sign for the club.

The striker made over 100 appearances for previous club Dunston, over 40 of which came in the last season where he scored 13 goals, including a hat-trick at league champions Cleethorpes Town. Dale scored 19 goals in the previous campaign.

Dale has been a prolific goalscorer throughout his career. A spell at Consett returned 67 goals from 84 appearances, including a goal in their 2020 FA Vase Final defeat to Hebburn. Previous clubs also include Morpeth Town, Blyth Spartans and Newcastle Benfield.

Dale Pearson said: “I’m delighted to sign for the club. After speaking to Dean and Andy, it was a pretty easy decision. I know a lot of lads who are here, I consider them to be my mates. It felt like the right decision in this time in my career to come here.”

Heaton Stannington manager Dean Nicholson said: “I’m naturally over the moon to bring a player in like Dale. He was our number 1 target and to sign him is brilliant and just what this team and club needs. Like the fans, I can’t wait to see him getting started.”
