Dear Members 

As you are all were aware we are facing unprecedented times in terms of increases in the costs of living. The club is no different as we face increases in everything we purchase and do. 

The bar prices were set at current levels in August 2020. The club during Covid and since has absorbed three price increase from our suppliers, the most recent being 19th September 2022. 

On average prices have increased by 10%+ since then. Our volunteers (Reg, Davie and formerly Terry) have continually shopped around to seek better deals to try and delay the increases but reluctantly we now have to pass these on to you to remain financial viable and have the funds to invest in the club going forward. 

It is with regret that the Committee have approved a recommend increase in prices from 1st January 2023 as below.

It is not a decision that has been taken lightly but it could not be avoided so please don’t shoot the messenger the next time I am in the club.
