Heaton Stan A took on neighbours Walker Central on 30th March 2024. Goals from Harper (2), Tallen (2) and Poole (1) saw them over the line in a competitive 5-3 win as they continue their promotion charge.

Here is a photo gallery from Heaton Stan A’s 2-1 win over Blyth Rangers in the minor cup on Saturday 12 November.
The first half ended goalless – A lot of effort from both teams but a lack of cutting edge in either box. 30 seconds into the second half, the Stan missed a penalty. On 48 mins that was forgotten when Boothroyd chases a long ball from Jenkins and fires past the advancing keeper. On 59 mins the Stan take a two goal lead thanks to a tremendous strike from Marshall from an angle. On 81 mins the visitors give themselves hope, scoring a penalty. But the Stan held on to go through to the next round, where they face Alnwick Town Development on 14 Jan.

Tomorrow nights visit to Ford Quarry to face Washington FC has been postponed. The Ford Quarry hub has not yet re-opened and the decision has been taken to postpone the fixture. The new date is Wednesday 25th November 2020, 7:45pm KO.
Our next match is therefore Saturday when we visit Esh Winning.
