Barry Hindson

It is with great regret we share the news of the passing of Heaton Stan trustee, Barry Hindson.

Barry was a highly respected voice of non league football and hugely supportive of our Club over the years, and will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with Barry’s family and friends.

Here is a clip recorded by Brian Pratt shortly after our play off final win over Tow Law Town.

RIP Barry.

Heaton Stan Warm Hub launches

We are delighted to be launching our Winter Warm Hub on Tues 29 November 12-3pm. This is a completely free resource for our local community. Pop in for a cuppa, some soup & some company if you want it, in our warm clubhouse. Everyone is welcome!

Heaton Stan A v Blyth Rangers 12 Nov 2022 – Photo Gallery

Here is a photo gallery from Heaton Stan A’s 2-1 win over Blyth Rangers in the minor cup on Saturday 12 November.

The first half ended goalless – A lot of effort from both teams but a lack of cutting edge in either box. 30 seconds into the second half, the Stan missed a penalty. On 48 mins that was forgotten when Boothroyd chases a long ball from Jenkins and fires past the advancing keeper. On 59 mins the Stan take a two goal lead thanks to a tremendous strike from Marshall from an angle. On 81 mins the visitors give themselves hope, scoring a penalty. But the Stan held on to go through to the next round, where they face Alnwick Town Development on 14 Jan.
