We have three of the four acts confirmed and what a treat we have in store!
Dave Johns
Dave is one of the most respected and best loved stand up comics working on the British comedy circuit. A multi-award winning film actor, accomplished stage actor and improvisor who has appeared on the West End stage and is best known for his breakthrough role in Ken Loach’s critically acclaimed film ‘I, Daniel Blake’ which won the coveted Palme D’Or Award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
“Shifting from hilarity to uproar to genius in the blink of an eye”
– The Guardian
Steffen Peddie
Fondly known as The Big Man of Northern Comedy, Steffen is famous for playing Big Keith in BBC2’s hit comedy sitcom Hebburn.
Returning to stand up after an eight year break as a Pro Wrestler has found Steffen a little older, wiser and bigger than before, but still ready to find the lighter side of any subject that an audience member can throw at him.
MC David Hadingham
David Hadingham is a seasoned comedian known for his sharp wit and hilarious insights into everyday life. With a career spanning several decades, Hadingham has established himself as a stalwart in the world of stand-up comedy. His unique style combines clever wordplay, observational humour, and a touch of self-deprecation, creating a comedic experience that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds. Whether he’s poking fun at the quirks of human behaviour or sharing personal anecdotes, David Hadingham’s performances are a rollercoaster of laughter that leave audiences in stitches. His charismatic stage presence and impeccable timing have earned him a great reputation in the UK.
Paul ‘Silky’ White
Paul ‘Silky’ White is a comedian and musician from Liverpool. Since 1994 he has avoided adulthood, wealth and financial security by doing something he loves instead, reducing people to tears of mirth. He has done this all over the world, on television, at Glastonbury, Bestival, Camp Bestival, The Big Chill, Comedy Festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Glasgow, Leicester, Melbourne and the world’s smallest comedy festival in Frampton Mansell (a real place, not a character in Downton Abbey). He’s been reported dead to the police and been Dr Who’s backing guitarist.
‘massively engaging guitar-playing stand-up whose instinctive rapport with audiences makes him welcome wherever he goes.’

Season tickets on sale
Club News: Sponsorship, Season Tickets and Match Day Entry
We are pleased to share some information ahead of our debut season at Step 4, in the Northern Premier League East.
Promotion to this level comes with significant additional costs for the Club in every way. Our running costs will increase, the investment required in developing Grounsell Park is substantial and the amount of travel we are now required to fulfil is vast in comparison to what we are used to.
Heaton Stan is a club run by volunteers. We do not have a wealthy owner, we do not have a means for major cash injections and being sustainable is always our number one priority.
As a result we are relying on our amazing sponsors and supporters to help us make this possible!
Sponsorship
Our sponsorship brochure for the 2024-25 season will be available for download soon.
We will promote various types of sponsorship from now and through the season. We urge all businesses local and far & wide to get in touch if you can help us.
In particular we urgently require an Away Sponsor and a Hospitality Sponsor. Email info@heatonstan.co.uk for more info.
Season tickets
Season ticket pricing for next season will be as follows:

Concessions (over 65s) – £90

Match day admission prices
Match day admission prices have been set as follows:
Adults – £9
Concessions (over 65s) – £6
Under 16s – Free
Ticket purchasing
We are in the process of implementing an online ticketing platform for both season tickets and individual matches.
This will make advance purchasing of tickets a lot more accessible and straight forward for all of our supporters.

Under 18s Player Recruitment
Heaton Stannington FC continues to go from strength to strength..
Our senior team was promoted to the Northern Premier League for the first time and our Reserve team were run away winners in the Northern Alliance.
And to make it a hat trick of successes, last season our Under 17s team came out top of their Northumberland Saturday League, an achievement all the greater as they were playing a year up against older lads.
Player development is a major focus of ours and as a result of these successes we are seeing players promoted from the Under 17s into our Senior teams.
This means we now have opportunities to strengthen our Under 18s squad for the new season (date of birth between 1/9/06 to 31/8/08).
If you want to be part of a great club and join a fantastic squad playing at the highest level this is your chance.
Please direct all queries to Simon by email simoncoulson157@hotmail.co.uk with the players name, age on 1st September, current club(s) and position. Or feel free to contact Simon on 07599014720 to discuss further.
